Remodeler's Warehouse is a sham and won't deliver on anything promised. I hired them for a large project which they did not finish and left my house in disrepair. They are not a licensed contractor in the state of South Carolina which is required for any job over $5000. Corbin Dickson, company President, lied on multiple occasions and cannot be trusted. RW would work just enough to get another check then would disappear to work just enough at another job site to collect a check. RW installed my cabinets before paint and drywall was finished just to get a check quicker. The day Corbin Dickson's company quit (after being 6 weeks behind schedule) he attempted to file criminal charges for theft against myself and my fiance then sent threatening emails. The Aiken County Sheriff's department reached out to me about the matter. Corbin Dickson was previously a police officer so he obviously knew any contractual disagreements were a civil matter. South Carolina law also allows for a homeowner to inform a contractor (or someone pretending to be a contractor) of defects in their work and give the contractor time to remedy said defects. In Corbin Dickson's mind, he thought sending multiple emails threatening a felony arrest would make me magically want to pay him more money for incomplete, sub-par and defective work after I had paid him $75,000. I had identified issues with their work from day one which were never addressed and I only heard from Corbin when he thought another check was coming. There are multiple defects in all aspects of the work completed which will have to be redone at an even higher expense. My house has sunk over 2" due to the unlicensed structural work RW performed. Now none of the doors shut right, drywall has cracked, plumbing is leaking, trim is coming off the walls, etc.. They painted the entire inside of my house including stained trim which all needs redone cause it's peeling off and wasn't prepped prior to paint. The project manager was quoted as saying, "all the trim paint in my house peels off, it's normal". His company damaged my cabinets which were $25k then spray painted some of them in my backyard. They did not include some of the organizational features in the cabinets as promised and contracted. The side panels were installed crooked and my warming drawer, fridge and microwave did not fit properly even though the appliance specs were provided prior to ordering cabinets. Corbin refused to pay subcontractors hired by his company for over $35k worth of work even though I made timely payments to RW. I can go on forever because the project never went smooth, constantly behind schedule, was always lied to and was not completed by RW. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Corbin Dickson also attempted to send us to collections then sued me for $24k filing a civil case lacking any merit or legal grounds. Even though it's going to cost me at least 3 times that amount to fix their mistakes and finish this project, Mr Dickson apparently feels entitled to more money. It's public record in Aiken County if anyone wants to look up the case. And if you wait until March 2017 for some light legal reading you can see my lengthy response in all it's glory. Corbin Dickson's threatening emails are also entered into evidence under for anyone who wants written legal verification of how this individual responds to customers; especially customers who bring up issues in their workmanship, truthfulness and progress. Look at the other real reviews and we all share similar stories in our dealings with this company. I also forgot when RW was working on our house and it went months over schedule we had just moved to town. All of our stuff was in a moving truck/storage and we lived in temporary housing. Yet they never seemed to care about completing this project in a timely fashion. Even though we expressed repeatedly how much money it was costing us by going over the project timeline. Corbin took 13 days to respond regarding selecting plumbing fixtures. Our project timeline was 5 weeks.
